The appointment of Mark Atkinson brings a fresh perspective to the organization, “I am excited about expanding the DRMcNatty services into the Project and Program Management arena. Over the last twenty years I have worked directly with DRMcNatty as a partner, or contractor, in support of multiple large Program Management opportunities across the United States and internationally, including but not limited to many large high voltage transmission lines, gas main replacement programs, and several utility capital modernization projects. We have worked together with clients such as SCE, SDG&E, PG&E, ComEd/Exelon, DTE, NIPSCO, Hillsborough County Florida, and Universal Orlando. I am looking forward to working with the talented DRMcNatty team that has experienced Project Managers, Project Controls Engineers, and a very knowledgeable I.T./Software implementation team that can integrate all the necessary components for a successful PMO. We will be putting a lot of focus on supporting new clients in the Midwest, Southern and Eastern states.”
Along with a strong background in the field of Electric and Gas Utilities, Mark has 30 plus years of diversified project management and project controls experience in the industrial engineering and construction arena, and within the last 10 years has set up and implemented several Program Management teams across the US responsible for managing over $5 billion in capital projects.
Brian Criss, Executive Vice President said: “Having Mark on board will bring an exciting evolution in our Project Management services. His background in the field will offer tangible benefits to Utilities clients across the Midwest and eastern states, and we look forward to the new relationships that we will build with him as our PM Director”.
